Chris Taylor, MD is a board certified neurosurgeon with an active clinical practice who has performed medical expert legal review since 2011. Cases reviewed include medical negligence, personal injury, medical staff peer review, and state medical board investigations. Dr. Taylor has given court testimony and depositions in federal and state jurisdictions.

Dr. Taylor is a Clinical Professor in the Department of Surgery at Texas Tech University School of Medicine in Lubbock, TX. He is licensed to practice medicine in Texas and New Mexico. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and he is a member of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
Dr. Taylor has served on the Professional Conduct Committee of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, and has volunteered with the New Mexico Medical Review Commission.
While Chair of the Department of Neurosurgery at Texas Health Dallas, he reviewed credentials and approved applications for medical staff privileges. He has performed both internal and external peer review. He has performed clinical competence assessments through CPEP (Center for Personalized Education for Professionals).
Coursework for his MBA included Introduction to Business Law and Healthcare Law. Dr. Taylor has authored several articles regarding neurosurgery and law that have been published in peer reviewed journals.
